The school called CPS, but CPS policy said they could not tell the parents they just had to wait for the investigation. Both families were contacted for an interview by CPS within a few days. So, that's to say that the school may be taking action you aren't aware of, but I was still call CPS yourself and report and call your ped for advice on who you should talk to for expert advice on how to proceed with your kid.
