We had the surgery done around Thanksgiving time and she was home for 2 weeks. Note coming out of anesthesia for little kids is horrible. She was completely out of it and screaming and trying to rip her IV out. It was insane. We stayed overnight in the hospital, which isn’t common. Usually kids just go home after they wake up. However her sleep apnea was so bad that they wanted to monitor her for the first 24 hours after surgery.

First week was horrible. She was super sick from the anesthesia and all of the Tylenol and Motrin. But she bounced back the second week.

She is sleeping so much better now. I haven’t heard her snore at all.  Good luck! [/quote]
