Would you make the effort to let your kid go?  I mean, maybe she’s right about not having my contact information but why didn’t her son get the number yesterday- when they were all back at school?  I don’t have a gift for he kid and it’s a pain in the ass to get my kid there.  Still, I don’t want to be a grinch in my kids social life.  Thoughts?[/quote]
