DH takes a shower, then gets out and puts a towel around himself and walks out of the bathroom into our carpeted bedroom. He drips water as he goes and the carpet gets wet. I can’t stand stepping on wet carpet. It’s especially annoying when I’m getting ready for the day and step on the wet carpet with socks and then have to change my socks.

This would be a non issue if DH would take 2 minutes to dry off with the towel in the bathroom instead of in the bedroom.

Is there no hope for changing this behavior? Do I just need to be ok with stepping on wet carpet in unexpected places? It’s predictable that it will be wet route outside of the bathroom but sometimes the hallway carpet is unexpectedly wet because he goes to another room to get something before he dries off.

I’m trying to live with it but every time it happens my blood boils. I feel like he should just be courteous and dry off in the bathroom and he thinks I’m being ridiculous for caring. [/quote]
