It says that the winner of the Super Group (which is really just the spring D1 teams U13 and up) get to play the winners of the CCL, LIJSL, and the NSL. Then the winner of those four teams gets a spot at Regionals. It also says that if the winning teams is already eligible for Regionals by winning States, then the second place team also becomes eligible for Regionals.
This. The winner of NCSL Div 1 gets a chance in a playoff fashion to play winners of other leagues to get a bid into Regionals. Super group appears to be a fancy way of saying all teams in Div 1 in the Spring 2020 season.
I don't think the Super Group is just the Spring D1 teams. It looks like it is the top 3 D1 teams, the 1st place D2 team, and 6 at large teams. I agree that the winner of this Super Group advances to play the winners of the CCL, LIJSL, and NSL leagues in what they are calling the League Championship Playoffs. Also, a slight correction is...it doesn't say that, if the winner of the League Championship Playoffs is already eligible for Regionals, then the 2nd place team will go. It says that, if the winner of the NCSL Super Group is already eligible to go to Regionals by winning State Cup, then the 2nd place team in the Super Group will go on to represent NCSL in the League Championship Playoffs. The winner of the four team League Championship Playoffs then gets a spot in Regionals. What I don't understand is how the winner of the Super Group is determined or how the at-large teams are selected. If there are 10 teams in the Super Group, do they just play a 9 game schedule like a normal spring season that replaces their regular spring season (or are these games in addition to theoir regular spring season schedule)?
