What are considered the best (non-DA) '05 Boys teams?
Here's the current VA youth soccer rankings (with SOCA, Richmond, Beach and Legacy out of area): 1 SOCA ELITE [84] 37.33 2 ALEXANDRIA SA RED [102] 37.18 3 ARLINGTON SA [206] 36.54 4 ANNANDALE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB VILLARREAL VIRGINIA ACADEMY [229] 36.42 5 RICHMOND KICKERS ELITE RED [282] 36.20 6 LEE MOUNT VERNON SC SPRINGFIELD SOUTH COUNTY YOUTH CLUB LIONS BLUE [300] 36.08 7 LOUDOUN SC SOCCER [316] 36.04 8 BEACH FC RED [334] 36.00 9 RICHMOND UNITED [361] 35.89 10 VIRGINIA LEGACY SC CCL [372] 35.85 Here's the current MD youth soccer rankings (with DAs ranked #1-2): ank Team Score 1 BETHESDA SC USSDA [32] 38.12 2 BALTIMORE ARMOUR USSDA [66] 37.53 3 BETHESDA SC BLUE [152] 36.84 4 BALTIMORE CELTIC SC ELITE [168] 36.78 5 ELLICOTT CITY SC BLACK [237] 36.39 6 PIPELINE SC PRE ACADEMY [287] 36.17 7 MARYLAND UNITED FC ECNL [357] 35.91 8 ARUNDEL SA [390] 35.79 9 BRAUSA UNITED FC BLUE [405] 35.72 10 FC FREDERICK [411] 35.71 So at least for now, Alexandria Red, Bethesda Blue, Celtic, Arlington Red, Annandale based purely on YSR.
Washington Capitals should be on that list too. The LMVSC 05 team from last year broke up, most followed Pepe to SYC, I assume combining with some of SYC's strongest existing players to form the new SYC 05 team that just won OBGC. On the MD side, that Baltimore Celtic team disbanded, and most of its best players joined Pipeline. I hate to say it, but that Pipeline team is probably one of the best in the area right now - DA or non-DA.
