I guess I just don't understand this. Don't you have any hobbies or interests outside of your kids? Don't you do anything without your kids in tow? There is a healthy balance between "my identity isn't my kids" and "my identity is my kids". Obviously you don't neglect your kids for the sake of your own hobbies.
