Free advice:

1.  If you can swing the commute and are close enough go for it.
2.  If the drive is an issue and he would not have any other friends on the team I would just pick a local team.

Hawks are a top program and provide excellent competition and coaching.  2026 is too early to make any sacrifice for club lacrosse in terms of driving time and not playing with the local club.  The local clubs also offer strong competition and coaching.  The delta is not that great at this point.  A team that wins by three to four more goals than the other team at this age is not that big of a deal.  Wait until HS when it matters.  More than half the team will not still be on the team in HS anyway. This is just a fact.  Most clubs really form in 8th grade.   If it works then fine I would just not bend over backwards to do this when fine local clubs are available.  [/quote]
