Op, you could potentially get some good advice on this board for how to handle this (besides never doing it again), but if you respond like this instead of being mildly reasonable and taking responsibility that you were driving at ridiculous speeds in a neighborhood then this will just go off the rails quickly as is happening already. Try to be a little more humble and take some responsibility. Sounds like this is probably a stretch where a lot of people are speeding, so I can sense your frustration with that. But it's not going to get you the advice you want here. I don't have a lot of experience with this so can't help in that regard. I have one friend that got a wreckless driving ticket and I do think he went to court.. can't remember the outcome.[/quote]
