PremierSC out of Maryland in the 05 group won the second flight at the OBGC. They beat Vienna, SAC (second team) and FC Frederick. Then they beat West Virginia FC. Total points: 1135. These points, by themselves, would get them into the top 25 in VA. Add league games and a top 10 ranking is almost a given. Now play a second and third tournament like this and you may have a top 5 team in the state that may have played teams that are average at best to get the ranking. ECNL and DA games and standings don't count for points, yet CCL 10th place finish gets you points. GotSoccer is indicative of very little other than a commitment to enter leagues and tournaments to accumulate these points. [/quote]
