I just watched last weeks episode and i find myself getting really annoyed eith their choices. How did every single kid get the flu? Wouldn't you gwt flu shots? I know its not 100% but its better odds than exposing all 9. I feel like she sets them up to fail, like the basketball game. How could she watch Saylor with 6 babies?
I have never watched the show, but the main reason the flu shot isn't 100% effective is because there are strains that aren't covered by it. So, if your first kid is vaccinated and still gets the flu, then likely every other family member who was vaccinated with the same version of the show will also get the flu. It's not like 50% coverage means that 3 of your 6 kids get a strain. It means that you're protected against 1/2 the strains. (No, not saying that the flu shot is 50% effective, just simplifying the statistics to make a point).
