I'm just getting enough exp. on my resume then gtfo. Can telework these days nearly 100% of the time and earn big city salaries. There are so many areas of the country with nicer homes and better QOL for a fraction of the price. I refuse to pay a $250,000 premium on a home that someone spent 2-3 months flipping. Not only does it encourage inflationary pressures on the market, so much work is superficial surface layer junk fixes you're forced to pay a premium for. And these leeches soak up all affordable housing left because they pay all cash and/,or parts of investment groups trying to make a quick buck. Normal people are screwed out.
