The closure is all the stations south of National Airport- those between the Pentagon and National Airport will be open. Metro will be running express buses from Franconia-Springfield to the Pentagon. https://www.wmata.com/service/rail/PlatformProject/Alternative-Travel-Options.cfm
So I can park at Franconia and than take the bus to Pentagon. Since it's express does that mean no stops?
I don't work for Metro, but the map (which shows stops for the non-express buses) strongly implies that the express buses will not stop in between Franconia and the Pentagon.
I'm actually kind of excited for this part; as long as the 395 HOV lanes aren't completely jammed, I think it will be faster than the usual slog through all of the blue stops. I feel bad for the people who don't need to go that far though. I told my office I'll come in for big meetings, otherwise I'll see them in September.
