She has four kids of her own and my wife works from home, so we're flexible if, for example, she has to bring the 1 year old in with her or if she has to call in last minute due to her kids being sick. She does a 9:30-3:00 schedule, also part of what she needs to get her kids in the afternoon. We don't look for her to do anything beyond caring for our one child and cleaning up after him. DW even often prepares his lunch for him. We give her other bonuses off the books - buying lunch, cash for holidays, etc. [/quote]
