The tryouts are on various days (the kids just basically join in an existing practice) and are low key and not stressful in the least. I highly recommend attending one of the first couple ones if possible as the club director, Sully Hamid usually talks to the parents about the club philosophy. They do ask that players attend a minimum of three tryouts.

My son has been playing for Premier AC since his U9 year and is a rising U12. It has been a great experience for our family. The club really takes the time to develop their players and invest in them. He would have been lost at a big club. He's a kid who needs to be shown something possibly more than once and they have always been patient with him learning new skills. It is also very good for our life scheduling that we always know when and where the practice is (it has been the same all three years). Carpools are also fairly easy to find as there are many Arlington, McLean & Falls Church kids that play for the club and since many age groups practice together it widens the pool of possible carpool options. The other thing to mention is that as your child continues with the club, nearly all kids are offered a spot back on the team the following year, so no stressful and anxiety-inducing try-outs. This has been particularly good for us as I am sure my son would have quit years ago over the anxiety and stress of tryouts.

May 13th, 15th, 20th, 22nd, 29th, June 3rd, and June 5th

Rising U9 (2011/2012) to U13 (2007): 5.30 to 7.00pm
Rising U14 to U16 Girls: 6.30pm to 8.00pm

Boys' Tryouts:
May 14th, 16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th, 30th, June 4th, and June 6th

Rising U9 (2011/2012) to U13 (2007): 5:00 - 6.30pm
2006 (Rising U14) & 2005 (Rising U15): 6:30 - 8:00
