Test scores are not the goal for me. Learning is. And rote memorization, drills, and then blasting tv whenever the teacher wants a break are not what I would want from a school. But you do you. I don’t have kids at Brent or Maury, no. But I’m not going to recommend LT to anyone either.

DP. Your knee-jerk, uninformed opinion about L-T versus Maury or Brent suggests you are racist. You can be a racist POC, you know. (I'm also a POC). How do you know that L-T focuses more on rote memorization and drills? There was definitely some of that about 10-12 years ago but not presently. My kids went to Watkins and are at Stuart-Hobson with kids from L-T, who appear to have had a happy, well-rounded education.[/quote]
