It’s hard on the woman’s body (higher rates of preeclampsia, birth and pregnancy complications, etc), -and it’s more risky for the babies to be a twin (higher rates of prematurity, low birth weight, death, cerebral palsy, special needs in general). Also twin newborns and toddlers are exponentially more work than singleltons. But once you are past all that it’s a piece of cake and very fun![/quote]
