Methodists are going through some stuff on this front right now. It's something I'd really want to know about how a specific church was reacting before going regularly.

I just googled "open and affirming churches near me" and came up with a bunch of options - ended up at a Baptist church (in NoVa, not MD, sorry), which was new to me but a really welcoming community.[/quote]
