Then by the time you add in food, you’ve spent another $200. Plus some decorations and plates. $700-800 would be max. I’d love to spend less. We have a lot of local family plus friends so we always end up with 40-50 people. I’m trying to keep it closer to 35 this year. Even with home birthday parties we can spend a lot on getting a moon bounce, grilling burgers, etc. We don’t host a lot of other events during the year so why do you care if we want to spend this much entertaining friends and family?
