As to your questions- I think it has been very warm and nurturing for the kids, but I appreciate that they also foster good routines and behaviors, particularly in the pre-K year.  I think they balance it well.  It's definitely very play based but my kids were well prepared for K.  I have always found the teachers to be very accessible.  In the years we have been there I think they have improved digital/email communications which is helpful.  Instead of having everything be a paper signup outside the classroom or the like.  Like others mentioned, they have been doing this in their current location for many years with very little staff turnover- it's been very stable.  We would highly recommend as well.
