Doesn't matter, the GOP already lost the messaging battle. No one like to cut a check for $4-5K because the withholding tables were f#cked up by Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell.

Some, but not all. TX has very high property taxes to make up for the lack of income tax. UMC people with valuable homes in TX are certainly getting burned. So are UMC people in states where the property + income taxes exceed $10K. That's a lot of doctors, lawyers, and accountants in Red States.

Like said, everyone is getting sticker shock. 98% of people would prefer to have the proper withholdings throughout the year, instead of having to cut a big check in April. It was a fake tax cut.[/quote]
