Funny enough, today I am wearing tall black boots that I have had for at least 12 years.  I was walking the dog and thinking about a recent DCUM post where someone snakily typed something about how tall boots are out, and only people in the midwest are still wearing them.  I thought, people are still wearing tall boots because they like them because they bought them 10 years ago and the boots are still in great shape, because they're comfortable and warm.  I think the first few posters who spend next to nothing are only one facet of DCUM, and there are lots of people who spend more - following trends.

I started a spreadsheet in September to track what I wear each day.  It's caused me to reach deeper in my closet and really wear the variety that I own.  I've also found that in the past few months I'e hardly repeated work outfits.  Weekend outfits I do repeat a lot, in the sense that I really only have 1-2 pairs of jeans and I wear them a lot on weekend days or WFH days.  [/quote]
