You can't figure out why our President (who calls journalists the enemy of the people and has disregarded the US Intelligence community's assessment of the murder), defending the murder of a journalist (who was an American resident) who was tortured to death at the behest of the Saudi crown prince (one of our biggest allies in the Middle East) is a significant U.S. foreign policy issue?

Jamal Khashoggi was a journalist for the Washington Post - an American publication that often criticizes the President. Trump has often said he would personally punch journalists or otherwise joked about journalists getting attacked. If a journalist working for an American news organization can get murdered with the presidents blessing - is anyone safe? [/quote]
