It is a midlife crisis. He complained last week that he had to leave a happy hour early because he didn’t want to feel guilt about not being home in time to put our kids to bed. Not in the sense of helping me put them to bed but in the sense of knowing they would miss him and didn’t want to let them down.

I have been supportive of him going to work happy hours to get it all out of his system but it don’t know what else to do. 
I do not want to be humiliated in front of his coworkers.
