You could have said, I've been married for ten years and just found out my husband is an asshole! What should I do?

I'm impressed he cares about putting his kids to bed, that's a plus.

I bet he's having mid-life difficulty with his own ability to have a quality sex life with his own wife and therefore thinks things would be better with a younger, hotter woman. And maybe it would be, because the pleasure there would require less from him.

I hate to think he has devalued you as a person so much that (it really sounds like he has from the things he says to you) he might jump at the chance to cheat if opportunity arises. If he does, that's when you start making the exit plan.

The younger women at his office probably think he is a pervert. I would NOT go to this office party. What will be funny is most of his younger colleagues will bring their young hot dates.

We are intimatete about every other week or so. We have two adorable kids and I’m not at my best anymore in terms of being dolled up. I can’t wear heels anymore because I am handling a toddler. He references how he misses my long hair and getting dolled up. This is life. It irritates me to no end. HE has put on 30-40lbs and I never say a thing about it. I put on 10lbs and he started making snide remarks. I am only a size 4/6.

It is a midlife crisis. He complained last week that he had to leave a happy hour early because he didn’t want to feel guilt about not being home in time to put our kids to bed. Not in the sense of helping me put them to bed but in the sense of knowing they would miss him and didn’t want to let them down.

I have been supportive of him going to work happy hours to get it all out of his system but it don’t know what else to do.
I do not want to be humiliated in front of his coworkers.

Your husband is a dick. Don't wait to see whether he cheats; throw him out.

That’s how most men in their 40s+ think. He’s just too stupid to hide it from you...or he just doesn’t respect you enough to hide it. Who doesn’t want a younger hotter woman (at least for a night)?

He would love to cheat with a younger woman but he doesn’t sound like he has the skills to pull it off. In the meantime, he’ll just make you feel insecure about your lack of youthful looks. That’s pretty much how it works. Nothing new here.

Someone needs to have a talk with him about sexual harassment, too. He could be tanking his career.

Are you still having regular intimacy with him? How do you feel about hi m overall right now? It sounds like he is projected some of his issues about getting older himself onto you?

I don’t think there’s anything you can do. He sounds clueless. He obviously doesn’t realize how foolish he looks. Eventually someone may clue him in but it’s probably not going to be you. My husband used to act like this and eventually figured it out.

It’s been more than a few times now that husband jokes about looking at younger girls or how certain girls are very attractive and how certain customers love their work because of their looks.

He has even gushed over famous actresses and how gorgeous they are in front of friends with me right there. It is humiliating. I have told him so and he just turns it around and says that I am a “prude” and this is the reason why he doesn’t want to go out with me.

He just spent extra time chatting it up with the flight attendant completely ignoreing me and our children who were just up ahead. A stranger wouldn’t have even thought we were a family.

The worst was when I was pregnant with our second st a concert and he was blatantly stwring at a younger woman dressed in a short tight dress in front of us as we were waiting to go up the steps and leave. It was so obvious that the boyfriend out his arms around her and hugged her. Meanwhile, I had to stand there with my huge belly and pretend I didn’t notice.

I know he enjoys work happy hours with younger staff and jumps at the opportunity. I cringe at the comments he makes without me around and flat out do not want to be around his colleagues.

Now, they are having a holiday party at a night club, instead of the traditional formal dinner, and he is thrilled about it. Not I. I do not want to be around his colleague as he talks about how other women are so attractive.

Plus, when he got the email invitation, he came home and mentioned it to me. I was surprised that it was at a club so I questioned it because it wasn’t in the past, and he retorted, “Well I’M going, I don’t know about you.”

I said that of course I would go, since I am his wife but was hurt that we was so quick to consider going without me.

He clearly has a wandering eye and I wonder if this is a sign that with the right opportunity, he may cheat.
