The problem is that parents are raising their children to think doing these things is acceptable. School is where these kids are for most of their day, so that's where the incidents take place. You're fooling yourself if you think these incidents don't take place outside of school. The glaring issue is not with the schools. The schools are the easy scapegoat in all of this and a way for parents to point fingers at others when they're the ones who have failed their children. The glaring issue is that children are not being raised by their parents to understand how serious these offenses are, and how morally and ethically wrong they are. [/quote]

Thank you for saying this. This is exactly how I feel as well. Piss poor parenting and taking no responsibility for it and only wondering how to get their child out of facing any consequences so it doesn't affect their college chances. Sick priorities. [/quote]
