I loved the music, the costumes, the glimpse into the life of Freddie Mercury and the band.  Fun seeing Mike Meyers. The Live Aid scenes at the end were a complete joy.  The fake teeth on Rami Malek were a bit much (no need for extreme close-ups when they stick out so much to begin with!), and in some scenes Rami Malek looked like an escapee from the set of Planet of the Apes.  Rami is no Freddie, but then again nobody is. The movie could have been better but was still a fun time.

But for some reason, afterwards it has left me feeling really sad.  Maybe it was the way the movie shaded the story to make him seem lonely.  Maybe it's the utter tragedy of his too-early death, and the sad circumstances of life as a gay public figure back then, not to mention the devastation of AIDS and how scary that was.  "Love of My Life" is so poignant that it tugged at my heartstrings during the movie and again all the next day or so.
