I did a fresh donor cycle that came out better than expected.  Out of 23 eggs, 17 fertilized, 10 blasts and 6 normal.  We had severe MF, so they recommended against frozen eggs (you get fewer eggs and sometimes not all thaw, as you've seen) or a shared donor.  We also picked a donor that had better than typical results on her prior cycles.  I think a single frozen lot may not be the best route if you're trying to get several embryos, so you can have a second or even third, but it's a great option for 1 (and lucky for 2).  I wish we'd been able to do it (although with hindsight it seems it could have worked - but I ended up loving the donor, so no regrets). [/quote]
