A PhD student or medical resident might have low income but higher SES based on occupation and education. [/quote] uh huh b/c so many PhD/medical students have kids enrolled in MCPS schools Let's get real, genius. Low SES in schools is more often THAN NOT related to poverty. We're not talking about families with a PhD mom or dad working in a non-profit while parent two stays home.[/quote]
