I did have several positive home pregnancy tests and a negative blood test from the doc. Very frustrating. I started spotting 8 days after ovulation so I was sure it was implantation blood...but it never stopped. It was so light though that I didn't think it was my period. When I got a positive pregnancy test a few days later I was ecstatic! I went to the doctor for a blood test, took a few more HPTs the next day while waiting for the test results and they were all positive. I was so excited to get the news from my doctor that I was definitely pregnant....but it came out negative. They called it a Chemical Pregnancy. Now the bleeding has totally stopped after 8 days (usually I only bleed for 4 days and much heavier). Now I am waiting to see if I get a "real" period or if I will ovulate in a few weeks or what. Very sad, we've been TTC for about 9 months now. The nurse said doctors always advise waiting one cycle before trying again, but she said if I came in pregnant in a few weeks she wouldn't be mad at me. I think I'll keep taking ovulation tests until I get a positive and go ahead and try this month. I kind of feel like since I didn't have a full period maybe I have a better uterine lining and an egg will be able to implant better. Who knows.
