My stomach did get smaller after 2-3 weeks. Truly, because I stopped wanting to eat massive meals. Had a cheat day and ate a ton and my stomach could barely fit it all in. In the meantime, fill up on ~4 veggies a day, ~2 fruits a day, more protein than you think - I mean not exactly that, but in general that’s what I do, and I’ve lost 10 pounds.
Also limiting fat. Give yourself some healthy fats in small amounts, because you do need it. But in limited amounts. When we exercise it signals the fat cells to bust open and let go of the lipids inside. The cell wall remains there, permanently. So if you fill yourself back up with fat and sugar, the fat cells accept it back in. If you cut out fat and sugar, there won’t be anything to accept back in. Instead your muscle will repair themselves with the protein you add. Again, you’ll need some fat and oils, but focus more on veggies to fill you and give you nutrients; and then protein.
