CA is known for horrible public schools. We moved there before we had kids and after two years, we vowed we’d make it back here before we had kids in school.

However, it’s nearly impossible to get into UVA from northern VA. At our HS it’s about a 4.3 gpa and a 1490 on the SAT minimum. My cousins with much lower stats that didn’t get into UC Berkeley, both got into UVA. [/quote]
