At that income the only option is a nursing home via medicaid (special not regular medicaid). Its near impossible to get a bed going in as a medicaid. It took us 9 months to get a bed and most nursing homes refused. You have to find the bed, then apply. So, if you cannot prepay a month, many nursing homes refuse as if you are not approved they have to eat that cost.[/quote]
