Empower Montgomery's candidate LOST the Democratic primary. Are they now calling the primary a mulligan, making a desperate move because they are terrified of a Progressive County Executive?

Nancy Floreen is on record saying she "took the term limits vote to heart" and wasn't seeking office and planned on retiring. Now, did she change her mind, out of the goodness of her heart, to give third-party independent voters a voice? Since obviously she cared so much about independent third party voters in 2016? Or did Empower Montgomery and its money have something to do with this?

Just wondering.
