Yikes. [/quote] NP. Yes, Montessori schools start teaching math and reading at a young age. Our daycare in DC does the same. If your 5-6 yo isn't being exposed to math, and reading (ex. site-words etc) they are more the exception than the norm in our experience.[/quote]
