DC1 is in Level IV AAP, and prior to Level IV admission was not identified for Level II at our base school.  I feel like DC1 probably should have been identified for Level II and now I want to know if the same thing is happening to DC2 and whether I should do anything about it.

Basically I just want to know - was DC2 identified or not, or is no one informed about identification until some later date?

Yes, it's perfectly fine to email.  
Don't worry about laying low. If you want the information, ask.  If it's not being communicated widely and publicly there is no other way for you to know.[/quote]
