[/quote] unfortunately, this is not a promise you can make. It is a fundamental test of compatibility. She might also resent you if you do have kids and she realizes she never wanted them. I have a feeling she is not going to change her mind about wanting them--perhaps she may agree to keep you, but that's not the same thing. that being said, its reasonable for her--or someone else--to say that they do not want 3 or 4 kids.
