In addition to the letter, she was asked if I was her mom and other small details about the trip (did dad know we were going to Canada, we were going home). I was not offended. [/quote] These days parents who have a different race than their kids may get stopped to make sure human trafficking isn’t happening. I also am not offended. If some other white lady where trying to travel with my mixed kid I’d want her stopped after all. [/quote]
