As soon as the cheese was off my daughter went back to cooing and clapping and not being bothered. But after 10 mins I saw blisters and called the pediatric after hours line. They said that, because it was her face, we should go to the ER. So we did, and the doctor said it’s technically 2nd degree because of the blisters but it’s actually pretty mild and shouldn’t scar. There’s a hefty copay out of my pocket over a stupid mistake. I didn’t know she could reach the pizza and hadn’t thought about the consequences if she did. [/quote]
