Only once have multiple countries hosted the World Cup (Korea and Japan), and they both got automatic bids. FIFA will in the future determine who gets an automatic bid. With the US hosting 60 games (including quarterfinals on) and Mexico and Canada hosting 10 games each, I would assume the US will automatically qualify. The real question is will Mexico and Canada also get automatic bids. My guess is yes, but that question has not been categorically answered.[/quote]
