I have seen kids getting out when the light was red before. But drivers are not expecting a kid to jump out of a car when they are making a turn - they do not have visibility to it. People are so self-focused in school drop offs - and not only at Deal. We do not drop off at that intersection b/c drivers do such stupid things. The area marked no stopping is not saved so you can stop and drop off your child. It is marked that way so everyone - drivers and pedestrians are safe. [/quote]
