Does anybody know if SOL in MS count toward the grade ? Does SOL counts toward grade in HS?
My kid has 2 world history tests a quarter, and his WH teacher is using the SOL as the second test grade 4th quarter. It’s an easy A though. It’s an 80 point test and you get 80 points for a 500 (PA), plus an EC for every ten points over. My kid got a 600 and is thrilled with his 90/80. Bio, Chem had no impact. Algebra II earned extra credit points for PA. But this is TJ, and their grading practices are non-standard, to put it mildly. Base HSs might handle it differently.
