Hi I have a 2014 Dodge Challenger RT that I bought last year because my previous car just stopped working all together so it was needed. I live with my parents so I was able to afford it at the time. Lately, I've been having trouble affording my car loan payment each month; I get paid bi weekly and my mom decided out of the blue to charge me 400 dollars a month to live with her . My car payment is about $500 per month. My credit isn't great right now so I'm not sure refinancing is an option. I get paid about $400 per week after taxes and deductions. I would just like to get something different because I drive a lot for work and gas is very hard for me to afford, but I'm not sure what to do right now because of the loan I have and I'm not even close to paying it off. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
You sound like you are a little pissed with your mom for charging you rent. She did this because she doesn't want to support you any longer. She is trying to teach you responsibility. Trade in the car and get something fuel efficient/reliable and grow the f* up.
