First, are you labeling your stuff?  Clothes, sippy cups etc?  You are supposed to.  Either way, I would mention it to them because yes, it IS their job to keep track of each child and their items. [/quote]

Oh, stop!  Everyone who disagrees with you is NOT a troll.  $300 a week is very inexpensive and I would want my kid's clothing to be the least of a daycare workers concerns.

Back to the subject at hand, it is reasonable to ask the teachers if they can locate any of the missing items but I wouldn't sweat the small missing things since it's just common to lose items at daycare.  Only bring stuff you can spare to lose to daycare... so don't wear the nicer clothing, etc.
