Some people invest in the early years and then are okay with their kids going to public school. There are also some families whose financial situation changes and they can’t afford $38,000 a year in tuition anymore. Finally, if a child is diagnosed with a learning disability, public schools give much better support to kids with IEPs and 504 plans than privates. [/quote]
