I've not been to Mexico City personally, but I know a lot of people who have problems with the smog.  It wouldn't be high on my list.

Sedona seems like it would hit a lot of your key interests, though "culture" there is significantly different than "culture" in some of your other places.

For our next girls trip, we're looking at Iceland.  Have you thought about that?  It's a bit more expensive than some of your list but hits most of your interests in spades.

OP here.  Thanks everyone for your opinions!  We decided on Montreal.  It sounds perfect!  I looked at Iceland but it's a little expensive for some in our group...there are a couple of us who still have kids in daycare so we're on a budget![/quote]
