They had comprehensive coverage of local high school sports while they were reporting on Watergate and Iran-Contra. It's purely a function of the decline of print media and the Post laying off most of the reporters who might have covered a game or at least made sure the scores were reported on time. Their Metro coverage is absolutely terrible now, too, as well. [/quote]
