I binged watched Teen Mom 16 and Pregnant and It made me so depressed. Those teens are so clueless and don't seem to realize the gravity of their unplanned pregnancies. A teen parent and the child will most likely be poor with no education or real job skills forever. That show is glorifying teen motherhood. Being young with a baby is trendy. Meanwhile, In real life, my niece 20 is due any minute to have her second baby by another worthless guy who dumped her when she got pregnant. She posts open messages to him on facebook, because he is avoiding her. She works as a waitress and lives with her mom. I have another niece who had two babies by age by an unstable boy who is on drugs and unemployed, she lives with her mom and step dad in rural Va with few job opportunities. My nephew in another state has fathered a baby by a 16 yo girl, both are late in finishing high school. But neither is planning to go to college because they can't afford it because they have to take care of a baby. Lastly, I have another older niece with two babies by two different men. She works and supports them, but her life is full of drama with the negligent baby daddies. She posts on social media how sad she is that she can't meet a good guy to accept her and kids. She is so lonely and broke and tired in her 20's Teen parenthood is a tragedy, but MTV is glorying it by making teen moms celebrities. It's so sad.
