Second grade isn't hard for most, esp. in this area. Moreover, it is an insufferable statement because I'm certain he didn't know 100% of the material in...let's say - social studies - going in. Truly gifted kids aren't bored. (I know, I know, some will pile it on and say this isn't so but I've attended training sessions on this AND seen this in my classrooms.)[/quote]
