No, PP is doing the right thing in calling her reps.  I applaud her/him.  Having worked in A Congressional office, the can you that the calls matter. [/quote]

I work with staffers on various issues, and I can tell you they're a facade. Your calls don't matter, sadly. But it this makes you feel more in control, then by all means. I'm not saying you shouldn't call, or that you're rude to them.[/quote]
Perhaps that depends on who the politician is. I know for a fact certain politicians make clear their calls from constituents will be tallied, especially with respect to certain high profile legislation. [/quote]
